Training at Craftsbury during the Holiday Vacation

Last Updated: 27.Dec.2016

We are very excited to be able to offer solid ski conditions on the bulk of our Core Trails heading into the holiday break. Thanks to Herculean efforts by our grooming staff, we have a solid base on most of the trails, augmented by manmade in a few places. The skating is fast and the tracks are hard and things will only improve with more natural snow.

The holiday break often finds Craftsbury packed full of skiers, so in an effort to alleviate some congestion in our Activity Center lodge, we are asking that visiting high school and club programs keep their gear on their busses or in their vans when possible. The lodge is a great place to come inside to warm up, grab a bite to eat, or rest weary legs for a spell, but the space seems to fill up quick. If teams can leave their bags on the bus, that will help us keep the lodge from feeling overly claustrophobic. Teams interested in coming should email Ollie Burruss so we can get a sense of who is coming and when.

We look forward to welcoming everyone for a fun holiday break full of fast skiing!
