Yesterday's Tuesday Night Race took on the team sprint format, with 68 racers (34 teams) attacking a fun, twisty course entirely in the upper and lower stadiums. Each team completed six laps total, navigating the relay exchange zone to tag off between each leg. It was controlled chaos of the best kind, and exciting for both racers and spectators alike! Big thanks to Keith Woodward for setting up an excellent course.

Our ambitious plans to get lap times for each competitor were thwarted by the size of the field, but we have overall results for the race here. The duo of Eric Remick and Maxfield English took first place, while Ben Taska and Matt Moody finished second, and Adrian Owens/Stephen Wright secured third. The top three all-female teams were Hannah Dreissigacker/Jenny McIlvane, Heidi Caldwell/Mickey Fili (despite suffering a broken pole in the exchange zone), and Emily Linton/Anika Leahy. 

We’re not going to count these results towards the series standings, so no points up for grabs this week. Next week and the following week, TNR will be getting on the road for stops at Hardwick Trails and the Prevot family’s trails, conditions permitting! More info to come.
