There’s been some confusion with the composite map that heads this thread. Here are the maps, broken down by distance:
3.25k CW
3.1k CW
2.5k CW
2.1k CW
1.4k CW
1.0k CW

Thursday, January 9:
7:21pm - Sprint startlist availble at Bullitttiming.com.

Here are some additions and updates to the info provided on the Invitation:
• Courses are shown on the attached map (unless the weather changes anything).
• Racing will start at 10:00 and should be done by noon. A preliminary start list will be posted later today on this website in the Biathlon Events section.
• Wax cabins, located in the lower parking area, are available for rental of $25/day. Please e-mail biathlon@craftsbury.com if you want to reserve one. There are also 14 waxing benches in our public waxing space.
• The Competition Office will be located in the small room to the right of the entry to the Gym, across the deck from the Touring Center. The office will be open before and during Official Training times. You can also e-mail biathlon@craftsbury.com at any time with questions.

New Time for Coaches’ meeting - 4:15pm Friday. To make it more convenient for those not staying at the Outdoor Center, we will hold the coaches mtg after Official Training ends at 4:00pm. Notes from the meeting will also be posted online for those who can’t make it.

NOTE: This will be a fluoro-free event. Craftsbury does not allow fluoros in its public wax areas, and we are making an effort to eliminate fluoros from the races in our control. US Biathlon is supportive of this and says the following:
“With FIS banning fluoros next year, we assume that the IBU will not be far behind. We will most likely be in a situation next season where fluoros are no longer allowed at any level of competition. By having this NorAm be fluoro free, everyone has the opportunity to practice what will most likely be mandatory at all events next season. Not only is this healthier for us and our environment, but it will also save the athletes money. Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation.”

To be specific, for this race you may not use HF paraffin, topcoats, or powder. We will allow use of LF waxes.

Weather: As of now, we are expecting some warm, but not too wet weather Saturday morning, which should be OK for racing. Sunday is a bit more of a question and we will be watching it closely. If it should become necessary to cancel Sunday’s race, we would refund entry fees.

Race distances and details for Sunday’s Individual have changed slightly. Note: for the Senior class, we will be running a “short Individual”: 15k for men, 12.5k for women, with a 45 sec penalty. See Table below:
