Last weekend, many of the Craftsbury juniors went to Ripton, VT for the third weekend of Eastern Cup racing at the Rikert Nordic Center. Craftsbury racer Claire Ellis shared a number of pictures with us and they do a wonderful job showcasing the talent of our juniors.
Saturday was a classic sprint day, with the top 30 men and women moving in to the open rounds and then the next 12 in their respective age groups entering the U16 heats and U18/U20 (junior heats). On Sunday, all competitors did skate races. U16's raced 6k, the women raced 9k, and the men raced 5k.
